Kenny Collins Claims Victory at Brasstown Brawl Season Opener

On March 22, 2025, the Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina, hosted the season-opening Brasstown Brawl, a thrilling event that attracted top talent in the 602 Crate Late Model division. The race, organized by J&J Promotions—led by racers Jason Welshan and Jamie Oliver—offered a $3,500 prize to the winner.

Kenny Collins of Colbert, Georgia, piloting the #00 car, emerged victorious in this highly competitive race. Starting from the third position, Collins skillfully navigated the track to secure the win, demonstrating exceptional driving prowess. This victory not only earned him the substantial purse but also set a positive tone for his racing season.

Finishing in second place was Booger Brooks in the #48 Savage Chassis. Brooks delivered a strong performance, showcasing the capabilities of the Savage Chassis and his own racing skills. Rounding out the podium, Tyler Millwood in the #98 car secured third place, adding another commendable finish to his racing career.
