Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series Adds Dates in Florida, Tennessee and the Carolinas
Woodruff, South Carolina (January 21, 2025) – Officials of the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series announced the addition of several dates along with shuffling others on their 2025 schedule. With these changes the slate now sits at 27 events in 6 states and competitors will still use their best 18 finishes to determine the season’s $30,000 points payout. “Now that most schedules are out, we were able to add a few more events. And we also needed to move a few to more sensible dates based on other schedules in the region.” said STSDS Managing Partner Travis Scott.
The Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series added a trio of events to tracks not previously on the initial schedule release. A pair of one-day $10,000 to win events are set at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on June 21st and the other at Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida on April 19th. Also new to the schedule is a $5,000 to win event at the soon to be reopened Tri-County Racetrack in Brasstown, North Carolina on August 22nd. The series also announced another huge 2-day event at Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee. Halloween Havoc will feature twin $5,000 shows on October 31st and a $15,000 to win event on November 1st.
“We have worked hard on the schedule since PRI to make sure we have the best possible schedule for our race teams, marketing partners, fans and promoters. We are looking forward to getting started in a couple of weeks at Screven’s Winter Freeze.” Scott concluded.
